Why should I sign up for membership and why is it so inexpensive?

OOAKDollArt.com is a site with prodominately sculptors.  It has been online since 2005.  There are three sculpting  forums that include posts from over 3000 artists throughout the years.  There are tons of sculpting tutorials in the three forums that the members have graciously shared to help their fellow artists.  I have been told that OOAKDollArt has the largest amount of sculpting tutorials and links to learn how to sculpt of any online site dealing with the art of sculpting clay.  The artists are so very helpful too to all of the members  especially those who would like to learn how to sculpt.  If you will take a minute to read the page “Welcome From Our members” you will see just how friendly they are and how they feel about the new members who join OOAKDollart.  The artists here are not a haughty bunch, many of them too were shy and afraid to post in the forum and show their work until they realized just how friendly and helpful and encourageing all the other sculptors here are. 

I have been told that the fee I am charging is much too low for the value that is found here on the site but I have never been about money and it is my desire to provide a place where people can learn to sculpt and find a wonderful support system not only to learn how to sculpt but to deal with life on life’s terms while at the same time earning a small income so that I too can invest more time and resourses into the site.  The fee helps to pay for the thousands of dollars I paid for the site as well as the thousands of dollars I have spent on daz files to build and continue to add files to the virtual gallery.  I realize the value of the site and membership is much greater than the small fee I charge but I want the poor starving artists to be able to come and enjoy the wealth that is found here and not feel that they have to give up the home they love so much if their finances take a down turn.  And for those who really really cannot afford to pay the fee please contact me and let me know and I will sponsor you until you are able to.

OOAKDollArt is a WE site and it is basically run by the desires of the members.  I do everything in my power to take suggestions and am willing to add anything that I can afford to add and have the ability to add to the site.  I am here to help and I am a servant not a master.  It is my desire to be a blessing to all of the members in way I can.

I hope you will at least give the membership a try as your account will only be billed 1 penny  $.01 for a 30 day trial.  I hope the members will provide you with testimonies  as to why they stay at ODA year after year and why they are even there in the first place and just what kind of help and support they value enough to pay to be a member when there are other places they could go for free.  Hope to get to know some of you in the forum.  Big Hugs Tenderspirit
