Wow, that is pretty good! I don't know who the actor is, but he's a nice looking fella. You did a great job on capturing a likeness. Is he going to be a full figure or is he only going to be a bust?

Great work, Dyvia! I don't know him but he is a handsome guy! I think you got him. Maybe as Zoe said, the left eye appears to be smaller but this could also be the picture. Really nice work so far!

Divya, I'm wondering if you intend to paint him or leave him in his natural clay colored state? You have done such a fabulous job on this fella.

Hugs,
Lori

Lori he was left only clay and was not painted. It was commissioned to be cast in precious metal later so painting was redundant :)
But my client is now so happy with it that he says he is going to keep it like it is and not cast at all in case he damages it (lol)
But I am very happy with his response. Picture does not do that much justice,in 3d he actually looks pretty much like Sharukh. I have always had problem with symmetry in my faces, they are never mirror friendly (they look like horror movie cast in mirrors!!). So i guess thats bit of it gets caught in camera too, but human eye is such an accommodating darling (lol) that it adjusts all these faults automatically.
He sounded very excited over phone and that did made my day (actually days :D) thats the beauty of art and creating i guess :)
thats why even though it doesnt pays good always we stick to it :)

some of people who saw it in actual even said it had better likeness than the one in Madam Tussads  thats not really true (or maybe :d_wink: ) but yup it gives me that extra kick and push to start expecting more from myself and not limit myself with my own head thinking that 'i cant probably do this'

this was the first portrait i tried and it got such an awesome response, best is that my mom who usually doesnt likes my work too much (she is my most honest critic :) ) could not help beaming at me whenever she crossed this sculpt :flower: :flower: :flower:
I might sound like I am blowing my horn  but i mention all this so if there are other fellow artists who have also limited themselves by their insecurities like i did will try and break that wall :)

i am working another project thats not a full sculpt either. will complete it soon and show you guys :bouncy:
