Which one?

Postby renellesdolls on Sun Feb 13, 2011 3:34 pm

Hello all! I have a bit of a dilemma, It's now time for me to get some more clay and I usually get prosculpt but i would like to have more clay for my money, so I was thinking about livingdoll because i would get more but I wasn't sure about the quality.
So I wanted to get y'all's opinion on which one you like.

I hear they are the same, but I have a much better experience with Proscult.
1. Its easier to condition... LD is waaaaaay too hard.
2. Prosculpt doesnt seam to darken unevenly in series baking. the LD I am using at the moment has darkened my faries hands and feet too much to the point I had to do a light wash to tone it down a bit.

After much deliberation I have decided to get both and stretch them with each other :)
But I probably will still mostly use prosculpt.

Thanks everyone for helping me out!

I'm confused, I thought Living Doll and Prosculpt were the same clay sold under different names in different countries

I always heard that they were the same but I have a package here that I am using and the color isn't the same and it seems different. I can't explain it but I really don't care for it that much. I am going to try mixing some with cernit to see if I get a better color for my next sculpt!
